What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My earliest memory is ironically my most memorable. When I was two years old, we were moving out of our house. I remember all the lights were turned off already. The house was barren. I wanted to roll my favorite toy car down the hallway one last time. Well, I rolled it down the hallway and it swerved off to the left and went under the frame of a door. The hallway was so dark that I was scared to go get it. As I was contemplating what to do, my dad scooped me up. It was time to go. As we were walking towards the front door to leave the house I began to cry, knowing that I would never see my favorite toy car again. I loved that car. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I most closely identify with my mom because we both have a strong work ethic and share the same relaxed personality. I also most closely resemble my mother, physically. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire someone who exhibits above average intelligence and has an open mind. I also admire someone who is not afraid to take risks and has a lot of confidence. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | This is a really hard question to answer, but I would say when my mom tried to jump off a diving board at a public swimming pool. I was about fourteen years old and we were at a swimming pool one summer afternoon, and my mom decided to be bold and jump off the diving board. Well, she did, but it was the most sorry attempt of a jump because she slipped the moment she got to the end of the diving board. This sounds horrible, but she fell in the most awkward way possible and I just couldn't stop laughing. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would go to Paris because it's the city of love. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | When I have children, I would hope to pass on my genes for my metabolism, because it is relatively fast. I would also like to pass on my self-confidence (if that's even heritable) and my athleticism. |
