What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I loved going water skiing on our family boat. It was fun to be out on the water with all my cousins and other family members. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My uncle and I are very close. I worked for him during high school, and he really helped me develop a lot of skills I use still use today. Attention to detail, critical thinking, and a strong work ethic. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | When hiring employees, choosing friends, and raising children - I admire qualities like competitiveness, critical thinking, and the ability to think/act logically under tough circumstances (pressure/stress). |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I was down to my last two quarters for the toll road on my first interview out of college. I was running late because I couldn't find the place. I ended up getting the job and being promoted internally three times with them. It makes a good story for new hires and in lessons on punctuality! |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would like to go to Berlin (tour of Germany). Both sides of my family are from Germany, and I would really like to go sometime soon. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I have two children already, and I want them to live fulfilling lives. To have the mentality to live in each moment, as they strive for whatever makes them happy in life. |
