What is your most memorable childhood experience?One memory that I will never forget is the time when my mom was teaching me how to play baseball. We used to go either to the park, or play outside on the front lawn. Everything that my mom taught me I carry with me to this day.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify with my older brother, of course. We are like two peas in a pod although we were born more than a decade apart. We love almost all the same things. We are constant jokers but most of all I have fun with him. I truly do love the person that he is.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire those with a sense of humor. Humor is stress-free, it's fun. I also find that those with a good sense of humor tend to be excellent storytellers. I think the world needs more of those types of people. More smiles!
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?Well I was acting a fool in school one day and all of my friends were trying to show-off, basically who could jump the highest. The marker was a basketball rim and I decided it's time to show these boys who the boss really is. I ran, I jumped and I landed flat on my back. All the girls were laughing and the guys never let me forget it.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?In a perfect world I suppose I would love to travel back to Japan. I fell in love with the culture many years ago as a child. The food is awesome, the people are friendly and the views are phenomenal. I would also like to go fishing in the town of Shimizu.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?When the time comes for children in my life, I would like to pass on strong leadership traits. I hope to instill good moral values and teach them about friendship. Also I would like to teach my children how to cook and clean properly.
