Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? My most memorable childhood experience was traveling to Greece when I was very small. I was amazed by the massive mountain ranges leading into flat valleys that met the ocean. The artifacts and ruins that are scattered across the country also interested me in their significance and historical purpose.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify with both my mom and dad equally. They have always been there for me growing up and I share a special bond with them. I feel that we have an open relationship; I can tell them anything without them "getting mad" or judging me. I feel that they trust my judgment and have supported me through everything. I trust wholeheartedly in their judgment, experience, and opinions of things.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire honor the most in a person. Honor is being true to yourself and others. I feel that nowadays many people have discounted that. Honor ties in with being truthful, dependable, loyal, and courteous; all traits I consider extremely important to an individual.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I've been lucky to have a lot of humor in my life, I really can't think of any one thing in particular.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I'd travel all over the world. Every destination is different from even the place down the road. Each area has its own history, its own influence and its own beauty. Nature itself is so beautiful, I feel like we forget that sometimes. A lot of people try to substitute going out to these places by looking at pictures but I know from my travels in Greece that looking at a picture will never be a substitute for being there.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I want them to have my sense of humor since it is a large part of my personality, and my resilience. I also want them to have my ambition to balance out the humor since too much humor leads to a successful social life but difficult work life.
