What is your most memorable childhood experience? | We used to visit my grandmother every summer. One day my dad and I went fishing on a stone dam that stretched a couple hundred feet into the sea. We caught dozens of fish, literally a bucketful. I had a lot of fun on those trips. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My mom. She is smart, patient, and kind – my role model. As I grow older, I find that I am a lot like her. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Determination. Patience for when things don’t work out as they are supposed to. Not being afraid to be yourself. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | Back when I was in college, I was bragging that I could easily lift two people at once. So, at one party, I’m trying to prove it: one girl on each shoulder. I am standing up and half way through, my pants cracked wide open. I still managed to lift up both girls, but it didn’t matter. Everyone laughed so hard. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | At this point, my dream is to go to the Scandinavian countries: Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. A lot of history, unique culture, and beautiful nature. There is something about the tranquility of northern nature that really speaks to me. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I hope my children will not get easily discouraged. Also, a good sense of humor never hurts. And, by the way, I am good at sports too! |
