What is your most memorable childhood experience?My most memorable childhood experience was when I was about ten years old. My friends and I went to this empty lot in the neighborhood and cleared it out to build a fort. I remember how serious we were about the little details and how much time we took in the planning to make sure it was perfect.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I would have to say my father. I admire my father's ability to make people feel comfortable at any level. My father and I are both very ethical men and pride ourselves on doing what is right, no matter what the personal costs.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire the ability to be compassionate towards other people, and to take care of others. And I admire the understanding that taking care of others is, in turn, taking care of oneself.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?When I was about eighteen months old (according to my mother) I went into the backyard and fed a full diaper to the neighbor's Doberman Pinscher.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel to Spain. I would love to see the history of Spain up close and personal. I have Spanish ancestry and I would love to be able to experience it firsthand.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would want to pass onto my child that nothing in life is free. That with hard work comes reward. It doesn't have to come in the form of money or possessions; it comes sometimes in the form of self gratification.
