Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? One night after church, my brother and I were racing to the car, and he tripped me at the last second so he would win. I went face first into the car, knocking both of my front baby teeth loose. Later that night, we were wrestling and he kicked them all the way out. We both still remember, but now we can laugh about the crazy things we did as kids.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I would have to say my brother. Mostly because of how he has always challenged me in everything I do and made me into the man that I am today. Now I am trying to do the same for my other brother.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Work ethic. Other traits are also very important to me, but being able to put in a hard day's work is the number one way to win my respect.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? This is such a difficult question to answer, everyday something happens that seems like the funniest thing that has ever happened to me. So here's a recent one: a couple of months ago, I took a girl ice skating. I took her hand, acting like I knew what I was doing, and right when I let go, I fell straight on my butt as she gracefully glided away. My hopes for looking smooth failed miserably.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? There are so many amazing places I would love to see but, honestly, I would have to say Mexico. A few years back, I went down and built a house with a few friends from church. While we were down there, we grew pretty close to some of the kids in the area, and I would love to go back and see how they're doing.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?My work ethic is what I would like to pass down to my kids. With a strong work ethic you can go as far as you want in life. Also, my love for sports. I could play all day, everyday, its keeps me fit and it's a good way to meet people. I just want my children to get the same joy out of it that I do.
