Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? One of my most memorable childhood experiences involves a ski trip my family took every winter that was a long car ride away. I have fond memories of squeezing into the back seat of our van between my two brothers and watching one of our favorite shows on a tiny TV.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I most identify with my oldest brother because I always looked up to him when we were young and attempted to copy his mannerisms and the way he talked. He has become a mentor to me and is someone I can confide in.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire a good sense of humor, kind-heartedness, integrity, and the ability to have fun and enjoy themselves no matter what environment they are in or how they feel.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?For our senior prank my best friend and I decided to put a garbage can on top of the flag pole in front of our school (after removing the flag or course). When we got to the pole late in the night to do it, we realized the pole was slick and we couldn't get could traction because the fabric of our clothes didn't cause enough friction. Next thing I knew I was climbing up the flag pole wearing only my boxers when a cop pulled up. Needless to say he had his questions, but he let us off with a warning.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel all over Europe because I have lived there for a period of my life and I know and love the area and differing cultures.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would like them to be very well-mannered, ambitious, and have a good sense of humor.
