What is your most memorable childhood experience?I really enjoyed a long summer road trip that my family and I took. Some of the places/things we got to see were Grand Canyon National Park and baseball games in Cleveland and St. Louis. And we went in the St. Louis Gateway Arch. We also stopped along the way to see family that we hardly ever got to see while I was growing up.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I closely identify with my dad. He practiced with me when I wanted to try different sports. We spent a lot of hours together going places and practicing. He went to a lot of the games that I was in for various sports.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire someone who can lead a team and is able to be organized and take charge of a project. I also admire someone who starts a work project and sees it through and finishes the job. I like a person who is knowledgeable and to whom people go for their opinion or advice.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I stuck my tongue to a flag pole in elementary school. I had a friend who dared me to do it. We had just finished watching the movie "A Christmas Story" the other day. The fire department had to come to the school to help with getting me off the flag pole.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would like to travel to other countries and the rest of the United States. I have traveled a lot growing up. I have been to forty-five states, and I would like to see the remaining five. I want to see different cultures of the world.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I guess I'd like to pass on the idea of just general open mindedness. Kids should be allowed to grow up deciding what to believe, what to love. A good work ethic, a sense of responsibility, a belief that they should be held accountable for their own actions.
