| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My seventh birthday party was at a neighborhood swimming pool. On the drive to the pool it started to rain really hard. When we arrived we saw that everyone else had left the pool. Soon, the rain stopped and the sun came out and my friends and I had a huge public pool all to ourselves. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most closely with my oldest brother. We have always had similar career goals in health care, and we share many lifestyle pastimes, like fishing. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire simplicity, enthusiasm and integrity. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | Once on a camping trip, my friend put a fresh cow patty on my travel pillow. When I went to bed I face-planted in the cow poop. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to New Zealand (South Island). The beaches are beautiful and look pristine. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would hope to pass down the hunger for a good work ethic, and a love for reading books. |
