Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? My best childhood memory is probably being a part of the neighborhood swim team. Every summer the neighborhood would put together a swim team and we would practice at the community pool. On Saturdays we would compete against other neighborhoods. The team was coached by one of the dads that lived in the neighborhood. This is memorable because I made so many good friends, and being on the team made my summers a lot of fun.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I most closely identify with my cousin (my dad's brother's son). He is like the brother I never had. I have always wanted to have a brother but I have two sisters instead. So I have always thought of him as my brother and I look up to him.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I really like someone who is down to earth, honest, trustworthy and caring. These characteristics are the most important in a person to me.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I can't really think of anything that stands out too much, but I guess walking out onto the pool deck with my suit having a huge tear down the back was pretty funny.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel the whole world to experience different cultures and see all of the different, beautiful sights that the world has to offer.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would just like to make sure that my children live a good life and that I can pass on my knowledge to them and hopefully they learn from me and grow up to be great individuals.
