Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience?I vividly remember getting my first soccer ball. It was a gift from a family member in the U.S. At that time I lived with my cousins, and we would play soccer for hours. It is those memories that my cousins and I talk about when we speak with each other.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I do not identify with any of my immediate family members. I believe that the lives of my parents and my own are too different to compare or parallel.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire intellect, independence, and accountability.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?A few years ago, my friends and I decided to drive to New York state to visit another friend at university. On our way, we almost hit a deer, got two speeding tickets, got two flat tires and had the heater in the car malfunction (it was in the winter). In retrospect, this was really funny... but not so much at the time.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?The moon! Currently, it is possible to see space and orbit above the moon. It would be incredibly expensive and time consuming but if I could I would do it. Seeing the world from another point of view would be an amazing experience.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?A curiosity for the unknown and an eagerness to learn whatever they want. I hope that my children will have the ability to work hard and become experts in whatever they desire.
