Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? My most memorable childhood experience was the time spent driving down to Florida with my sister, mother, aunt, cousin, and grandparents. We would take our time driving there and stop at different sites, small towns, unique little restaurants, and we would even go camping/hiking. The time spent with them was truly time spent "investing in memories," as my grandmother would always say.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? Before his death, it was my grandfather. He was a father figure to me, a mentor, and a friend. We would spend time together reading, going on drives, having a drink (coffee for him, cocoa for me), cleaning up the yard, or watching old movies.
What character traits do you admire in an individual? The trait that I find most admirable and am most attracted to is the trait that allows others to feel how comfortable a person is in their own skin, in their own being, which is self-confidence.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?The funniest thing to ever happen to me was an incident with a surprise birthday party. My own party. I walked in and I guess no one recognized me, so in the dark I hear a voice say, "Come in quick before he gets home, it's a surprise." So I waited with everyone else because I figured it was for my roommate. Well, after ten minutes, someone said, "When does he get home?" I laughed really hard and everyone freaked out when I said, "I'm right here!"
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?As I have traveled and lived in Europe before, I've always wanted to do a tour around the world. However, if I had to choose a place, I'd choose Australia because they're close to the Asian continent as well. I love foreign cultures and experiencing new languages, food, art, music, etc.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?My passion for life, for family, and for choosing a path that you are dedicated to.
