What is your most memorable childhood experience?My most memorable childhood experiences is going to the coast every summer. I loved going to the beach everyday, all day. I loved boogie boarding, swimming, building sand castles then watching them get destroyed by the tide, laying in the sun, playing paddle ball, collecting sea shells, and just being with my family.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I most closely identify with my mother. She has always been there for me and has always been supportive of everything that I do. She is kind, caring, empathetic, and is a great role model. I am always impressed with her performance in triathlons, ironmen, and ultra marathons. She is also very charitable to those less fortunate.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Everything I mentioned about my mother in the last questions. Plus motivation to better oneself, self control, good work ethic, being loving and non-judgemental, someone who takes care of his body, intelligence/education. Someone who is easy to talk to, easy going, independent, an animal-lover, likes the outdoors, values the environment, and is open to new things.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I went to SeaWorld once with my mother and brother - and a seagull pooped on my head!
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would chase snowstorms during winter for skiing, chase waves in the summer for surfing. I have also heard that mountaineering in Ecuador is beautiful and surfing is supposed to be good in Indonesia. I really would like to do a three year world tour where I would backpack, stay in hostels or bed and breakfasts, work here and there for board and more money, and keep seeing as many places as possible.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?Live a healthy and happy life. Get a good education because it provides for more options and freedom in the future. Be an individual. Be respectful and humble. Be responsible but still have fun!
