What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience is when my dad, brother, and I went to see karate movies every weekend. My favorite karate movie we went to see was "The Karate Kid." |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | Although I identify with my entire immediate family, I most closely identify with my mom. She has given me the sensitivity to care for other people. Being a doctor, I use the sensitivity she taught me every day in my work and also in my social life. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire individuals who are ambitious and courageous. I also admire people who are motivated and are always looking to move forward in life. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | The funniest thing ever to happen to me was when I volunteered at a local community center. I was asked to play the role of a spider in a play at the age of seventeen years old. The play was performed in front of a group of disadvantaged children. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | If time and money were not an issue, I would travel to Egypt. It would be fascinating to see all the monuments and pyramids that were built before there was any advanced technology. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | If and when I have my own children, I would like to pass on to them the importance of a solid education. My parents taught me not to rely on anyone else and to get a good education. I am thankful for all that they gave me and taught me while growing up. |
