What is your most memorable childhood experience? | When I was in the fourth grade my oldest sister (who had been given up for adoption at birth) located my family and we were reunited. I was immensely excited about the idea of having another sister and additionally a brother-in-law and a niece. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I believe I most closely identify with my father, because he has the most firm and honest understanding of what he wants in life to be fullfilled. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I most admire someone's ability to understand other perceptions, and look at the larger picture of how things work and interact. Honesty and kindness of course are also highly valuable. I think the chief unifying quality amongst my closest friends is an overall personal well-roundedness. A multitude of interests and abilities combined with a strong sense of empathy and understanding makes for good folks. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I have actually slipped and fallen on a banana peel. But it did not land on my head. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | After graduating high school, I took a year off before college and worked to save up money for a month-long trip to Europe. I would very much like to return to Edinburough, London and Paris and further explore these cities that are so very rich with unique cultures and atmospheres. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like to pass on to my children the idea that the most ennobling thing anyone can do is make decisions that enhance the lives of others. Also, I would instill them with a constant curiosity to understand "how things have come to be this way" in whatever places they find themselves. |
