What is your most memorable childhood experience?When we took vacations every summer with my family. It was always nice spending so much time with my family and being so close.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My mother. My mother and I moved to America together without my dad. She worked all of her life to support me and helped me get my education, as well as a number of part-time jobs.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Individuality. I admire people who go against the flow and don't succumb to peer pressure. Intelligence and curiousity too, namely people who try to learn something new all the time and don't base all their opinions on other people's opinions.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I always wanted to date a girl who reminded me of a certain celebrity for many years and I eventually found a girl who looked exactly like her. It taught me an important lesson in life: looks aren't everything. After two months, I wanted to end therelationship because we were not compatible at all.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel to every country in the world. I would probably spend the rest of my life traveling and living in different countries for 4-6 months. I always loved reading and learning about other cultures. My top 5 countries to visit would be: France, China, Egypt, Greece, and Turkey.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?A sense of family. I would like them to know about their roots and to visit their country of origin at least once. I would also like them to have my traits, such as individuality and yearning for personal education.
