You have completed your IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment and have embryos remaining. At this time you want to store your embryos for possible future use. With the rapid advances in reproductive medicine, cryopreserved or frozen embryos can potentially remain viable for an indefinite period of time. Pregnancies with good outcomes have been reported following thawing and transfer of embryos frozen for over a decade. Hundreds of healthy babies conceived from frozen embryos are born every year and the numbers continue to increase. You may want to consider moving your embryos to the well known and highly experienced long term storage facility at Fairfax Cryobank because:
Genetics & IVF Institute (GIVF) Cryobanks (Fairfax Cryobank and Cryogenic Laboratories, Inc) have been storing reproductive specimens long term since 1970. In addition, state-of-the-art embryo storage has been available to patients at our IVF center for more than 15 years. GIVF Cryobanks, with two of the world's largest anonymous donor semen banks also have extensive expertise in cryopreserving, storing, and transporting frozen sperm. In fact, we have been transporting frozen specimens to and from physician practices in all 50 states and many foreign countries for over 30 years. We have storage locations in our Fairfax, VA, Austin, TX and Philadelphia, PA laboratories.
Credentials-Fairfax Cryobank is:
Our facilities are equipped with the latest technology. Embryos are stored in state of the art vapor phase liquid nitrogen tanks that are not dependent on electricity to keep embryos frozen. This cutting edge technology provides for the storage of specimens in the vapor phase 100% of the time, thus eliminating the slight but possible risk of infectious disease transfer possible in liquid phase tanks. These storage tanks are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The safe keeping of your embryos for many years is completely assured.
